The Latin American Workshop in Law and Economics

The Latin American Workshop in Law and Economics (LAWLE) is an   academic annual event aimed at supporting research in the field of Law and Economics in Latin America.

The organizing institutions are Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile, Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico, Universidad de Los Andes and Universidade de Brasília.

The first workshop took place on November 20-21, 2014 in Santiago, Chile and included presentations by a small and highly select number of researchers.

The agenda of future Lawles is as follows:
Lawle-2015: Mexico City (ITAM)
Lawle-2016: Bogota (U Andes)
Lawle-2017: Brasilia (Brasilia University)
Lawle-2018: Santiago (PUC-Chile)

From there on the place of the event will repeat in the same sequence.

The  Lawle 2015’s organizing committee is Joyce Sadka (ITAM), Alvaro Bustos (PUC-Chile), Daniel Mejia (Andes), and Mauricio Bugarin (UnB)
